How I'm Photographing Safely This Year (Again

Want a photoshoot at home and not indoors? NO PROBLEM!

Want a photoshoot at home and not indoors? NO PROBLEM!

As we all pivoted in 2020 to a “new normal,” the same polices will apply this year with me photographing you. As my client, your health and safety is my top priority as well as my own and that of my family. I’ll continue to take all precautions advised by the CDC and the Washington State Department of Health.

For those of you new working with me, here are some policies I’ve implemented below:

EASY RESCHEDULING
For full sessions, either of us can reschedule up to the time of the shoot if there are symptoms of any kind. We can reschedule for a later date without a problem. For Mini sessions, there will be back-up days in case of any symptoms and/or illness.

NO HANDSHAKES OR HUGS
It’s been weird this past year without hugs or handshakes. Continuing this practice of no contact this year.

PROTECTIVE GEAR
I will continue to be masked during all sessions and will sanitize before/after each photo session. I use new, sanitized masks every time. Additionally, I periodically get tested at the drive-through testing center for my own peace of mind.

KEEPING A DISTANCE
The beauty of using long distance lens is forced distance and I’d like to keep to that. Same deal with no-touch posing. I’m pretty good at giving directions to you from a distance.

KEEPING OUTDOORS WHENEVER POSSIBLE
I use mostly natural-light during my sessions so keeping outdoors during daylight hours will continue to be key. There are so many great places to hold your session, including some OUTDOOR COVERED secret spots that will keep you dry (not me, haha) even during rain. I’ve had a lot of clients also book me for Front Steps portraits in Seattle.
