Seattle Mini Sessions
What’s a Mini Session? What about the other types of special sessions? And Why Should I Book One?
If you’re new to Mini Sessions, think of them like a “bite” of photography. Minis are quick sessions meant for easy life updates, say, for things like holiday cards or a new headshot. Many families actually book multiple minis with me throughout the year to document how much their kids grow in a short time.
I offer special location dates when available during my travel.
As with all my portrait sessions and having photographed well over 300+ families, I work to make this easy for you. These are sessions that are only available during select dates and locations.
COVID Policies:
I am fully vaccinated and boosted with Pfizer vaccine and so are the adults in my family. I do have a sick policy for families and ask for a mutual transparency on health.
All galleries and ordering (hello, prints!) will be online.
Have any questions? Happy to chat virtually. Just let me know!

FAQS
Have some burning questions about Minis?
Check out a few answers to my most frequent questions about mini sessions.
How Do I Sign Up for a Mini Session?
Choose one of the sessions above and make sure to go through the checkout process. I only host these at select times of year and not as one-off’s to account my time. Dates/times are first come first serve and non-negotiable. If you have any questions, be sure to email me!
What if it rains?
In Washington, it’s a given so we’ll also have umbrellas (sanitized, of course) available to use and being creative in some shaded spots. If the weather is absolutely horrible, we generally reserve the following day as a rain date so please keep your schedule clear the weekend of your photoshoot.
What time should we arrive?
You’ll receive a calendar reminder to arrive promptly to the location 10 minutes before your session time slot. Also I or a team member will be communication with you and direct you over to where I am photographing. Plus to ensure there are no overlaps with families.
What should we bring?
You and your loved ones. For outdoor sessions, please bring a blanket you don’t mind sitting on the ground. For parents with kids, bring your usual bag of goodies (snacks, sippy cup to treat your kids post photoshoot). As with previous sessions, I will always have plenty of hand sanitizer and extra masks on hand.
What if we're late?
Please make sure we have your correct phone number on file so I or my team member can find you. We’re parents with small children so we totally get it. (Pro tip: Tell yourself to leave an hour before you need to and have your outfits ready to go the night prior. It always takes me a while to get out of the house with my own little kids.)
What if we're sick?
Sick kids / humans don’t like to be photographed. my policy, even before the pandemic, has been “if you are sick, please stay home and get well soon.” If you or any one in your party has symptoms and/or under the weather, please contact me ASAP. I’ll be reserving “make up days” at least two weeks after when I can only for illness or real emergencies. Thank you for understanding as my calendar gets booked up many months in advance and I’d like to make sure I can leave room for a stellar experience for ALL of my clients.
