If we get the chance to have a session together, count on it being a great time, get some walking time together, and probably some dancing involved (especially if you have kids or are getting married). Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes, to secure your date, I do ask for the deposits listed on the booking page.
How many images do you guarantee?
I'm pretty upfront about guaranteed images in each Session description. For minis, generally 10. For full sessions where we get more time together, a heck of a lot more. A big part of this is working with you ahead of time so we're set up for success. For weddings, I usually guarantee 100 shots per hour.
When can I expect to receive my photos?
You'll receive a link to your online gallery usually the day after your session. My goal is usually 2-3 weeks for non-wedding sessions. During wedding season, it may take a little longer due to the number of images.
How will my photos be edited?
Heavy Adobe Lightroom user here. I don't use Photoshop unless absolutely necessary. Additional retouching requests are subject to additional fees. Sorry, it takes more that time for that really specific work!
What do you shoot with?
I'm a Nikon photographer and primarily use my D850 and D750 with prime lenses (35 mm and 85mm, but sometimes a different lens).
When do you host Mini Sessions?
I host these at select times at year and at select locations only. These are great if you're looking for just a handful of images, like for holiday cards or headshot update. These sell out extremely fast so if you'd like first notice, be sure to sign up for my email list.
Where are you located?
I live in Seattle with my family, with a few weeks in sunny Ridgway, Colorado to escape the grey here for a while.
