school photos in Seattle
A super easy and boutique experience for Seattle families. Definitely not your “usual” school photos!
Personal and professional service. Unlike large, photography corporations with those cheesy backgrounds, I offer portraits that you’ll actually want to print and frame. I was able to work with my local Beacon Hill families all outside this winter and am now expanding to serving more Seattle families.
My aim is to capture the essence of your child (aka “small human” as I like to call my kids) in front of the camera. No forced smiles or awkward poses. No cheesy photos with the dappled backgrounds. These are photos you’ll actually want to print and send to your family. Expect an easy and fun experience for your kids that is contact free.
HOW it works
Book Your Kids’ portrait
Choose a time that works for you. Doesn't matter the age (preschool through high school). I leave time between sessions to disinfect any equipment I use. You’ll get some tips on how to prep and a calendar invite.
School Portrait Day
Day of shoot, you show up! I make this super easy for you and your kids. Photos are taken on site using a simple set up outside, using a dark background for “pop.”
Your Gorgeous Photos!
About2 weeks later, you’ll receive your link to your password-protected Online Gallery, where you’ll choose the photos you want and be able to order boutique products and digital images for future printing and archiving. Each gallery will have at least 10 images, presented in both color and black and white, that you can choose from.
Prints directly to your home. You’ll be able to order your prints online and have them delivered directly to your home.

What if it rains?
No prob. We’ll be working under an open air outside with some canopy or open garage coverage.
What time should we arrive?
Once you register for your spot, you’ll receive a calendar reminder to arrive promptly to the location 10 minutes before your session time slot.
What should we bring?
Your kids, fed! As with previous sessions, I will always have plenty of hand sanitizer on hand.
What if we're late?
I have about 10 minutes between each session, so please plan ahead if you can and arrive early. I’m a mom so I get it!
How Will I Get to Choose My Photos?
You’ll receive an Online Gallery link within two weeks of your child’s school photo session. There, you’ll be able to view a nice selection of portraits, select, and order the ones you want. You get to choose 3 for download and you’ll have the option to purchase more (totally optional).
What If MY Kid is Sick?
There will be a make-up day scheduled sometime later this spring as my schedule allows. Please stay home and give me a heads up if you or your kids are not feeling well.
COVID-19 Policy?
I’m continuing my commitment to keeping safe and healthy during this time and following CDC and Washington State Public Health guidelines:
Mask wearing and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Seating will be disinfected between each child.
No overlaps with families.

Are these fees refundable?
All sales are final. Session fees, however, are transferrable to another session (because, life happens). Thanks for understanding as I run a very small business! Since these are micro sessions that I cover the cost of running, I offer these at a competitive rate for our Seattle area.
Do you give back to our local Schools?
Yup. I’m happy to give 10% directly back to our local South Seattle public schools.
