our process together

  1. In-Person /Video Consultation. COMPLETE.

  2. The Contract / Client Agreement. If you decide to work with me, I'll send over a contract to you both to review. If there are any changes, I will make them and send back. From here, I will upload a finalized, agreed contract for an e-signature.

  3. Retainer. Generally half of the final package cost, I generally accept payments via PayPal, check (checks must first clear and any uncleared check will have an additional charge of $35 to cover bank fees plus whatever balance is due must be paid by cash or money order immediately), cash, or Venmo. The details of this will be in our contract together.

  4. Totally Optional: Check-in about details with you and your venue + venue scout.  If possible, I like to get a sneak peek of the space ahead of time.

  5. A few more questions. I’ll send some questions for us to go over to together that will help coordinate timing for photography during your wedding.

  6. Check-in about any last minute details.  Any changes to the timeline, finalize any wedding shot list (see above), who to check in with, etc... this is the time to let me know.

  7. Finalize remaining payment.  The final remaining balance is due 30 days before your event.

  8. Wedding prep time. As we get closer to the wedding, I go over and finalize any travel arrangements. Prep gear. Format memory cards. Charge batteries, etc.

  9. Day-of arrival onsite and check-in with a day-of point-of-contact on where I should head.

  10. Photograph your wedding! (November 2, 2019)

  11. Social media preview. (Week following your wedding) Within 48 hours I send you a link via Pixieset that provides you with 5-10 images from your wedding. It gives you an opportunity to share some of your professional images with your family and friends very quickly.

  12. Editing and post-production. I do all of this myself (no outsourcing), and I mostly use Lightroom for editing.

  13. Delivery of edited images. Here is where I give clients a chance to see the entire wedding album digitally. I'll download the images to your gallery on Pixieset within 2-3 weeks after your wedding. You'll be able to download high resolution and web sized files easily there.

  14. Share the post with your other vendors. This is why we ask all those crazy questions about who is doing flowers, hair, makeup, etc. They want to see their hard work in action and we like to show them.
